Anthony's really wide..

Thanks guys.

John I did have 2 long spines, no issues with scratching the acrylic, just started eating the acropora. Ran out of algae I guess, either way bye bye long spines.

Wow that is a lot of reactors. The sump room looks great I wish I had a house or garage to put my aquarium stuff in. You have a lot of really good looking corals as well.

Thanks, only 3 reactor. One for gfo, 2 for the calcium reactor. I put the tank there with the vision of moving the sump to the garage. It just took time for the wife to warm up to the idea.

I considered where to put a remote sump too. It was shot down pretty quick. After I emptied the skimmer the first time I heard "can't you put that outside?":lolspin:

Now I'm only allowed to clean the skimmer after she's gone upstairs for the night. Never underestimate the power of skimmate.:D

Jeff, if your skimmer cup has a drain run a hose to the outside of your house to your yard drain or to your least desirable neighbor. That way you only have to clean the neck and top cover and never have to empty the cup in your toilet or sink. This also involves drilling a hole in the wall when your wife is upstairs. My wife hates the skimmer cup but don't mind when I clean just the cover in the sink. I am not emptying poop in my sink.
