any orange acropora? Sps

Reef Raft Canada has an Orange SPS - the polyps are bright orange. I think its called the Orange Passion or something. I've been trying to get a frag forever.

That stuff is everywhere up here. Peice is around 90 USD an inch.

I bought a colony from a guy shutting his tank down for $400 cdn and it was really skinny. I put it front and center in front of a power head and it's finally getting going. Getting thick and encrusting. Polyps are a wicked orange, and the body of the coral is blue and green. I love it. And my angels don't !

Sweet, wish I could grab a piece for around $100. Wayne's post is from 2012 so it's definitely more available now, but of course local markets vary.

My JF Red Hot setosa is the only orange piece that I have, it's holding its orange well. Sometimes it'll get lighter in coloration, generally from some form of change, but as long as I leave it alone it gets a really nice orange. When I first bought it the color was more of a reddish orange, which I really liked, but I can't seem to get that color back.

This is the best pic I can get of my sunset monti, doesn't show how orange this thing really is.

Woah! What is that? The orange is very deep and rich, very cool. How long have you had it? Are there more available somewhere?

I call it Mango Passion, had it a little over a year and it's a crazy slow grower... Here's a picture from when it was still coloring up, really unique piece one of my faves for sure. I only trade with locals in socal but it'll make its way around eventually.

nice! I love the blue growth as well.
I would love to see the bad azz, now, too.. if its still orange and alive..

The blue growth is not really representative its more an effect of my lighting and poor photo skills lol
Maybee this will be a more acurate pic with my halides on.
