The base on this coral is kinda orange? Figured I would give it a shot, not many other orange acros posted. (I am kinda bad with colors so shoot me if its not orange at all)
Four years late to the party but here is a nice orange acro sorry about all the blue... I should have taken it with halides on.
Would love to see BadAzz all grown out that thing is crazy orange..
Lol nice coloring on that piece! Well done for one month
I can't believe my coral posted used to look like that, it was grown under 10k xms though. Funny thing is I called it bad *** acro as well, ha! Now that piece has more pink blue red purple colors. A lot of people in the DMV have it now. At its peak in the tank then it got neon blue tips which was awesome. I still have a frag I am growing out under 12k this time. I will post a pic or two soon.
Phone definatly didn't capture any good color but this one has a nice orange base color. The other is pretty new so we will see if it turns more orange or goes a different way. The last one has nice orange polyps and tips but isn't growing much and is in lower light now. Also had a little hyperplasia a while back like the first pic.
They can take high light, but 20k will bring a pink hue. When I had 10k halides mine was neon orange. This was it before it grew out. 5+ years ago I think.
Ive got a sunset monti, put on plug upside down and it covered the part that sticks into the sand typically and it encrusted off the plug and I own peach digi
