With most of the reloading manufacturers, after sales support is phenomenal. Dillon is the best example
I had bought a used 450 at a garage sale, out of production. I sent it to Dillon and for $94.95, shipping included, they converted it to a 550B
It had a manually operated powder thrower with it. I had been using it for throwing small batches of ammo on my single stage press.
It started leaking from the powder bar and I had lost the lid for it and was using a round piece of plastic.
I wrote an email to Dillon asking if they could fix the leaky powder bar and and sell me a cap for it. I clearly told them that I had bought it used at a garage sale.
They asked me to ship them the powder measure and they would look for an oversized powder bar a see if if they could find a cap in the junk drawer
5 days after I mailed it to them, I recieved a brand new current model with safety bar progressive powder measure.
I had a similar experiance with my first 550 I bought from a garage sale and the threads in the hole for the screw that holds the spring to hold the shell in place for pos1 had stripped out, they just asked for my address and shipped my a new assembly, screw and spring included.
