BONESURF? Is that you? Thought that ptr looked familiar. I bought a ptr91GI when it first came out and it is my favorite. Did you get the wood furniture from RTG? I got rid of the green and put black furniture and wide fore grip on mine. Between the M1A, STG58 and PTR the PTR is the lightest to carry.
 
yah wood furniture from RTG. I just picked up the wide green forearm and bipod, but I don't like it so much. I will probably go back to all wood. I did get an ARMS claw type scope mount with the cheek rest which I like quite a bit. Wow that's a statement that the M1A and the STG are heavier because....the PTR91GI ain't no lightweight

been playing with the handguns more lately. Searching high and low for a good deal on a Sig p239 9mm. If anyone knows of someone looking to sell....

The M1A is slightly heavier. I bet it is because the ptr's receiver is from stampings and the FAL and M1A are either forged or castings. When you go to Angeles next time send me a pm. It would be awesome to meet a fellow reefer/calgunner at the range.
 
The only m1a I've shot was a national match with a 24 million inch long barrel and yeah that was a pig but I would've thought the 16" m1a and 18" better. And yeah. Bonesurf on CGN
 
See guys this is what I wanted I wanted reefers to meet show your stuff off talk reefs and guns the two best things you can own and have fun with it. This is awesome!!!
 
My cousin has a 1st Gen Colt Delta Elite 1911 .10mm First time shooting the gun I hit my target with only the first two shots at 25yards. Tried offering him a price to sell, but didn't budge. I still want to buy a Kimber TLE custom II stainless.
 
What is everyone's though on all of the gun control talks? It just sounds like all that could happen is the feds would adopt ca gun policy? Anyway has anyone been to the new rang in Stanton? I'm thinking about heading out there with my ar15. Does anyone know if they require a class like the one in Laguna niguel.
 
Uhm....not sure what the policy of political discourse here on RC is....but I will leave this piece of food for thought. 3d printers. Now expensive. But as with all tech prices steadily dropping. Most "modern" guns have a very high polymer parts content and are pretty simple designs
