I am going to try it next month (September). I know it takes a while to cure and lots of water changes, but that's okay. My friends in Florida tried it with great success.
I have everything but the portland cement... I'm probably not going to get to it though for a couple of months myself when work slows down to the normal 40 hrs a week.
