Nice! Have fun and be careful.
Count on it. We should have lot of pics because I got Elaine, my wife, a new underwater camer for Christmas. The old one is bulky and kills batteries pretty quickly... but it's old.

Just received 2 WP-40's today. One works flawlessy....the other had startup issues for a few minutes throughout all modes. Now W1 mode won't work if the powerhead is directed in a forward position. I have to put it on the back of the tank and angle it at 45degrees and greater to get it to work smoothly.....anyone else have this problem
I had one of mine do that when I initially got it... but I was also running it at a lower voltage. After breaking in for a few weeks, It now runs flawlessly!
FYI.... The very first pump that I received and put in operation, has always been a little noisy. I had taken it apart before and cleaned it, but it didn't seem to make any difference in the noise level. Over the last week it has become increasingly louder, so I decided to take it apart and see what I could find out. Under closer inspection I noticed that the front bearing didn't appear to be fully seated in the housing, so I firmly pushed it back into the housing, When I restarted it, I didn't think that it was working because I didn't hear anything?! This pump is now the quietest one I have! I plan on taking the other 2 apart tomorrow and inspecting them. Just wanted to pass this on.
Not sure, but I think you are the first to post that you opened the wet side of the pump. Was it glued, or what kind of seal did it have?
How long did it take for you guys to receive your wp40s? Mine shipped on April 30th
My immediate future is next week in Belize snorkeling and playing in the jungle. May even go see some Mayan temple ruins.
Does it bother anyone else that people can't read. People have stated numerous times in this thread how long it took them to get it anywhere from a few days to a few weeks
Get Certified for scuba. Looks like you will be traveling about the country? If you go to Ambergris Kaye make sure you check out Shark Alley snorkel/dive. The critters there are super friendly they literally grab a nurse shark for you to hug.
