anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

I've had mine now for about a month. The only problem I see so far is having to reset it every few days. I've got it hooked up to a reefkeeper which is only to turn it off at night. Every couple days it goes back into high so I've got to change it back to else mode. Not a deal breaker but its sure a pain.

Are you using a variable power supply at lower than 16V? If yes, try to up the voltage to higher than 16V.

Mine has run 24/7 for 2+ months on it's own, using the built in night mode and I haven't had to do anything to it. I run mine on W1 at 18V. I'd consider taking yours off the RK controller.

I am supposed to get my pair in the next week or so.

Is there a way to lower output on the pump besides changing power supplies? I figure I will only need about 30 to 50% flow.

If I were you, I would get the WP25 which will be available within the next 2 weeks.

Same here.
I think mine is running at around 15v.
Going to hook it up to my Reef Angel this weekend (hopefully) and let the PWM dimmers control the speed of the pump.

I plugged my two WP40s to my RKE also with intermittent on and off during the day and off at night. I had the same problem with one of them resetting itself from time to time. I checked with FS and they said they had similar problem with voltage lower than 16V. I increased my voltage to about 18V with my PWM controller and the problem went away. I wonder if the internal RAM somehow not able to retain the setting during extended off time during the night.

Unfortunately the two sensors I received with it didn't work. The room the tanks in is never completely dark, therefore I have no place to mount the controller that the sensors would work.

Does anyone know if these have thermal and/or run dry protection? and do they sound an alarm if the impeller gets stuck?

Might have thermal protection, but I wouldn't bet on it. No alarm.

Either wait for the WP25, or figure out how to hook it up to a controller: ReefAngel, Apex, Arduino, or a microcontoller of your choice. My two are running at 20-35% in my 105 and I'm getting great flow. They will be replaced with WP25 when they are released.

Hey worse come to worse. I can keep it as a backup or for when I upgrade my tank.
The wife is never going to let that happen, she doesn't even want this one in the house.

She has no interest in the hobby and doesn't go on the forums.
Plus she has her own laptop so there is not even a chance of seeing it in the history or anywhere.

She knows nothing about what I do regarding the tank or nor does she care.
Everything gets shipped to my office so I just bring it home and take it into my "Man Cave" and it stays there until I get to setting it up.

I got a Flame Angle dropped off from Brett and NiceWrasse in Vero Beach. He was on his way to a wholesaler in Miami and stopped by.

Acclimated and put the guy in the tank and she still hasn't noticed it ans said when did you get that.
