anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

That stinks. Have you removed the impeller to make sure a piece of crud or something isn't fouling things up?

If you end up tearing into the pump, it can be helpful to soften the epoxy with heat. I used a torch on another pump-heat gun woulda been better but did not have one. Also take your sweet time. It's real easy to damage parts making an ID tough.

I see Simon slipped the check the impeller in there while I was typing. I am one slow typist. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about that.
Did you get the pump from Fish-Street.
If so see what they are going to do about it.
I'd like to know how they support a dead pump if it is actually the pump and not the controller.

I'm also interested in everyone elves question, but no need to ask them again.

Ya I got it from fish street . That was the fist thing I did was clean it still no go like I said ill tear into it more this weekend see if I can't find the culprit ps , controller or pump

If you got it from FS, it is guaranteed for one yr. Are you going to contact them first before tearing it apart?

I was unaware that they guaranteed them for a year let alone at all. thats nice to know incase anything goes wrong.

I might be wrong about the 1 year warranty from FS. I seemed to remember seeing it somewhere but I couldn't find it. The user manual mentioned the light sensor is not covered by the warranty so the rest of the pump must be covered under some kind of warranty. I will try to find out what exactly are covered under the warranty.

This is what I just received from FS re warranty:

"All item order from FS have half year warranty. *Include for the pump or power supply damage, over 3 month require pay for the shipping fee for replacement~

Even over 6 month warranty, we still provides the replacement kits example for the controller, pump and power supply, example for power supply is USD20, controller is USD20 per unit. *

Thanks

FishStreetStore"

Jedidog, looks like it will only cost you shipping to get the defective part replaced. If they don't ask you to send back the defective pump, you may then tear it apart.

connectors

connectors

Hey, found the right 3 pin connectors, the correct waterproof LED connector for Jebaos.. So you don't have to chop your cords if you want to run the pump off a RA, Apex, etc. These cords are stubby, they're less than 1' long, so not going to add length to your cords.
NOTE: you'll need 2 resistors for that voltage divider (or never run your controller more than 50%, don't click 'ON' on your apex web portal). Only other downside is loosing resolution (range goes from 1-100% to 1-50%) on the pump's control, prolly not a big deal with these pumps. Add the capacitor for LPF if your controller is PWM (arduino/RA).

They look like this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item-img/...Pin-Waterproof-Connector-Cable/630198351.html

Just recieved and installed 2 wp40s on my 220 84 x 24 x24 tank, any recommendations on the mode to run it in for random flow , but not a big wave, I have it on w2 mode and cut down at the moment.
Thanks for the help.

I've had my WP40 running for about three weeks now - and it just seems to be getting louder every week. Maybe I'm being more neurotic about it, or maybe it is in fact getting louder. Wish I had something to test the decibels.

If you bought your pump from FS, they have an impeller replacement kit that can help silence your pump free. The kit has two plastic bearings for each end of the impeller shaft. while the kit is free but you have to pay $2.95 for shipping.

Damn signature required, I have 2 WP-40s that were attempted to be delivered yesterday but they just left a notice that a signature was required (funny as I was home all day...)
