anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

He's running it off a Reef Angel so the control lead of the pump is the one being adjusted, not the power going to the pump.

The pump is still getting 24V, but the control lead is being adjusted by the RA, just like the stock controller would be doing.

we were asking the same questions at the same time.

I thought I had missed something until I looked at the date stamps.

I would do 2 WP25's for a 90. I have a WP40 and in my 90 and it is strong, I am supplementing flow to some areas with a Korailia that is why I feel the 2 25's would be the best route.

I have 1 in my 93cube sps tank and its perfect. i guess it depends what you have inside

It definitely depends on what you have inside.
Rock placement has a lot to do with it to.

There are a ton of variables. No 2 tanks are alike so the way someone else has their system setup do not mean it will work for yours.

I ordered my WP25's on saturday and the tracking info on the fish-street website shows that they departed Hong Kong for their final destination on 24 July. Does anyone know if they get here via air or boat? Also is the tracking info updated when they hit American soil? Just anxious to get these in my tank! Im in Chicago, so I wouldnt think it would take too long to get them, this close to a major hub....

The next step is arrival in US probably San Francisco. For further tracking must Hong Kong tracking # on USPS Speed Post. The package has to go through customs which could take 1 or several days. Itgoes by air to US but will take longer to make it across US.

You should expect to get your pump in 7 days if it is shipped via postal service or 3-4 days by UPS.

Just placed my order for one WP40 to try it out. If I really like it I will sell my Vortechs and pick up a second one or maybe a WP25.

Will be able to control one or two easily with my ReefAngel controller.

You can control 2 out of the box with the Reef Angel controller, as long as you are not using the dimming ports for anything else right now.
If you are, you can get the Dimming Expansion Module and control 6 off of that.
I think you can have more than 1 dimming expansion unit, but I'm not 100% sure.

What size tank do you have Chris?

Yeah I'm still running T5's so both dimming ports are free.

I thought I recognized your username from the RA forums

My tank is 90g, primarily SPS, currently running one MP40 and one MP10

Yeah that's me.

You can run 2 without a problem.

I'm going to try a 40 and 25 on my 55 gallon when I get the cables in.
I'll probably do an anti-sync. I think both at the same time on a 55 will be too much.
2 on a 90 at once maybe OK, but that's the great thing about the RA if it's not then set them to Anti-sync or bring down the percentage. The possibilities are endless.

Correct. I think it is the ATO High (the outer most ATO port) plus you need to have Roberto modify the Jebao cable to use that port for dimming.

Anyone notice their wp40's getting weaker over time??? i started running one a few months ago and it was real strong... last month i added another one... I have them running on a wavemaker that switches one on and the other off every 5 minutes because having both running at once is too strong... now i noticed the one that i've had for a few months seems to be weaker... when i set it on w1, or wave mode, the waves are not as strong as they used to be. The newer one is still creating waves that almost spill over the edge of the tank... the older one still makes waves but not as strong as they used to be...

Nope does it need to be cleaned?

Ordered mine last Saturday and it shipped Monday. I wasn't even expecting it yet but mine came today. 6 days is not bad at all. The box is beat to hell but the contents look good. Gonna clean this beast and see how she runs..
