anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

still looking at getting two wp40s for my standard 220g. i have corner over flows. what are some suggestions on placement. should i place them right up against the overflows on the side walls and angle them both towards the center of front glass. or have them pointing directly at each other? or off set them? obviously looking to eliminate as much dead spots as possible. but any recommendations to placement?

It took 3 weeks for me to get it when I first ordered it, but I've seen delivery times as quick as 4 days after shipping on this thread. We'll see. I'm glad I picked up a wp-25 as a secondary pump/backup. I'm not regretting my decision, but I may buy another wp-40 or 25 to keep as "bench stock"

OK, I can't read anymore. I tried finding my answer in here. I ordered a custom 60x36x24 aquarium, I was thinking 2 WP40's or 1 WP60 with a Jebao DC12000 return pump. This will be a SPS dominant tank with LPS and Softies. What should I do?

Personally, I went with 2 WP40s and a DC12000 on my 180g. I think you'd do well with that setup. You can get more random flow with 2 WP40s vs 1 WP60. Or you could even do 3 WP25s... I contemplated that route, too. :)

bumb for this question lol...

I am wondering the same thing. I would love to see them tested side by side for longevity. YouTube has a few videos of wave comparison.

Its hard to draw any conclusions about the longevity since they have only been around for about a year. Most people seem to be very satisfied with them. You see a few reported issues but given the number of them that have been sold, it isn't at the level of raising a red flag.

I had a pair of MP40s and replaced then with WP40s. The WP40s are quieter, seem to push more water, and the flow direction can be adjusted. They take up a little more space but not much. The controller on the MP40s is much more advanced. I personally am very happy with the WP40s and wouldn't go back to the vortechs given the huge price difference. I have a pair of WP60s on their way.

315 gallon that is 72 x 36 x 28. Right now I have two wp40s in opposite corners and they give me a decent gyre flow. My plan is to put the 60s in the front corners and the 40s in the rear corners. Im going to trying running a pair of 40s and 60s for a few hours to get a circular flow going in one direction and then switch over to the other pumps to reverse the flow.
