anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

What kind of water pattern is nutrient export? Is reefcrest random full on and stop?

The Nutrient Transport Mode or NTM described in Vortech can be best described in the following graph. It consists of series of pulses or waves following by high energy stream to help export the nutrients from the tank. The graph shown here is with two pumps running.

In a ReefCrest mode of a Vortech, the flows are random with pump ramps up and down but never stops. The ReedCrest mode can be best described by the front part of this graph. Jebo WP40's ELSE mode mimics this mode.

So if we can figure out a way to combine W1 and ELSE modes, we have NTM!

Here is another video of my wp40 running on wave 1 mode. This is the only powerhead being used during the video.

Most people without a controller will be perfectly happy with the 6 modes of the stock controller. If you replace the stock power supply with a variable power supply you will be able to reduce the intensity of the pump in case you have a smaller tank.

I am quite satisfied with running the pumps using the stock controller but I use my RKE as a timer to shut off the pump at night.

Someone stated in somewhere in this thread that there was a high/low switch.....in addition to the wave settings.....is that true? Are the 6 settings all for wave functions?

Is this the variable power supply most are using, (without the fan):

This is my afford so far, its still under development ,
i can control the pump from everywhere, and get real-time feedback too,
manage to make reefcrest like theme , nutrient exrt like etc.

i need a second jebao to make more tests and R&D in order to make two or more Jebao work together and get the best out of them.
i have also some great ideas , for example controller to read the weather from a meteorological website and make some storm themes .:spin3:

nettraptor - Ok that looks sweet! How much do you think you have invested in parts so far?

I ordered for a WP40. Can someone point to a link where I can mod to control through my Apex VDM? & Connect a battery backup.

dread240 - If someone does not post buy tomorrow when I get off of work I will post pictures comparing it to the 6055 and the 6045.

I'd appreciate it. Right now I have a korallia 750 and a 6095 in the tank. I also need to look into the program he's using for it above because if I can run them both in the same program that would be wonderful

Well I thought my light sensor was working but I just noticed a wave in the tank. For some reason it is not working in complete darkness. If I turn on a dim light the sensor works but in total darkness it doesn't. That makes no damn sense. Anyone else having this issue?

Bright lights = Pump on
Dim lights = Pump off
Total Darkness = Pump on
Finger over sensor = Pump off.

arghhhhhhhhh

That's what you get for buying one of those darn cheap Chinese pumps! If you had just spent $350 more you could have had a Vortec MP40 and no issues. :D

I'm sorry, did I say that out loud?

Seriously though, that is a strange problem. Was it like that from the begining? Mine is now a month old and running better (quieter) than ever.

Ron I agree this piece of Chinese crap needs to be in a landfill. NOT

I don't know if it has been doing it all along or not as its never completely dark downstairs where the tank is. I fell asleep on the couch last night and when I woke up the family had turned everything off and I just happened to hear a splash in the overflow and I knew the pump was running at normal speed so I investigated.

Sorry meant to say

Hold on! Those WP25 flow rate was pure speculation as no one has seen any official published specifications from Jebao about the smaller pump. If any one has confirmed info about the flow rate of WP25, post the link of the officical specifications here.

No it is not pure speculation, I do have sheets which show the exact specs for both pumps. Also if you go to their site, you can see that the WP 25 is not going to be held on with magnets either. I will attach the spec sheet i have received. Also I realize on the spec sheet it shows the WP25 having a magnet on it but on their website, it shows something different.

Here is their site info.

What I don't understand is why are the dimensions for the WP25 same as those of the WP40. I thought it is supposed to be smaller!
