anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

Just set up mine. It is awesome! Works great even with 12V laptop adapter on 60G tank, might even add more (I bought variable power adapter anyway).
Or could even see two of these in same tank (no reason really, flow is great).

So your telling me you can use a 12v laptop adapter to operate this thing? What kind of plug in is I have a universal laptop charger collecting dust.. Perhaps I should just wait on ordering the variable power adapter

I have the tunze 6105 jumper power packs and I have the 12v, 18v and 24v voltage jumpers for it. Would this power pack work on the wp40?

awesome!!!!! Not sure if I will need to turn it down but good to know that I can do it with that. Very anxious to see how it works on my tank with the 36" width.

Yea I would live to see it on a 65g deep (36"). I'm trying to decide on the mp40 or waiting for two smaller ones to come out

Steve - You will be fine with a tank your size it has a knob that you can control the flow with.

Does anyone know if I can control this with my AquaController 3? Would the AquaSurf module work (even if modded)? I REALLY don't want to buy a new controller if I don't have to.

Thanks...

I have 2 Tunze 6105's .....can someone post a pic of a Tunze next to these so I can get an idea of the size we are dealing with?

Also, are the prices listed on fish street....US Dollars? The Atlanta Reef Club is buying them at $35 each when the website says $62.50 for 40 to 100 of them....so what's the deal with that?

Editour2 - I currently have two 6105's , two 6055's, and a 6045 in my 180. I have turned all the other pumps off now. Here is side by side comparison of the 6105 and WP-40 the 6105 is on top.

I am setting up a 220 and was looking into these but the wave is huge and my wife would kill me if i had that splashing sounds. Can the wave height be controlled lower?

degibson84 - The wave can be controlled via a knob on the controller. The wave you see from my last video was with the setting just beyond half way. The picture below shows where I have my set on a 6' tank. I took some more videos today of the size of the wave I was making. All other pumps are off even the return. The splashing sound will depend on your overflows.

I marked the side of my tank today to find out how big the wave was. The picture below shows the delta. Blue is where it starts and red is the top and bottom of the wave. This is with the return pump turned off. The band measures about 1-1/8" from top to bottom. Pretty good for only one pump running in the tank.

if you try to contact manufacturer direct to buy they will sell only in a container full (so probably 1000+ units) but did not give pricing since i only wanted 50 :)

Just wanted to share my video on a 75gal and replaced 4 power heads.. Also the night sensor works and running strong for 3 days so far :D

That's some heavy flow....In your opinon would 1 wp-40 would be sufficient flow for my 120 gallon Mixed reef w/o variable power supply? I have staghorns probably 7" from the waterline and don't want to blast them to much. Would you say the flow is strong/gentle, random/turbulent, Or just strong/lineaer? How low does the the power go with the night sensor?

Sorry for all the questions you don't have to answer I know ultimately everyone's tank is different...I'll find out when it arrives

how come I can never get onto the fish street online store? just says "Internal Server Error"?

For some reason the Fish-Street.com blocks all IP addresses from HK. I don't understand that either. The pump is being sold all over Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. The pumps are actually shipped out of HK so why would HK reefers can't access the site? Can you buy the pump through local retailers?

Yeah doesn't stem right. Anyway I'll have a look in Tung choi street and see if I can find it. Thanks for the help.
