anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

Here is a photo of the test harness that Roberto from Reefangel constructed. Hopefully he does not mind me posting it here. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand explanations :eek2:

In the above photo:

the blue wire appears to be ground
the yellow wire is the +5V analog control signal (labelled VA on the controller's board)
the brown wire is the +24V DC

The white wire is the connector for the 0-10V analog connected between ground and +5V analog input to the pump. Remember you have to keep the signal from your device toa maximum of 5 volts.

Any updates from RA folks who are trying to control this pump?

spotter how long does it take on shipping to get these ??

I ordered mine on the 12th (i think), it left Hong Kong on the 14th, arrived in SF on the 15th, made its way to CT late last night and left there this morning. Who knows....maybe I will get it today. So all in all a little over a week from time of purchase. My only disappointment is that I didnt order two of these!!!

interesting .. seems like now i might be wrong if someone could help : else mode is just like running a power head or does it pulse ?

Not quite. It cycles through the various modes and speeds. I'm not sure the exact algorithm, I don't thinks it is completely random.

May be I will give you some visual of what Else mode looks like in my 92g tank

At 24V

At 15V

wow what a difference between the two. That purple coral really seems to get blown around under the 24v and under the 15v seems have a more gentle sway to it.

You can see in Else mode, the pump doesn't stop. If you listen carefully you can hear the pump ramps up and down like singing a song as serpent said.

Okay after two days of using this pump it seems to be louder than my Vortech MP40 now. I can clearly hear it over my vortech. For those that haven't changed the voltage, is it pretty loud for you too?

Here are some videos of W1 mode running at 19.5v with knob in different settings

Knob somewhere in the middle
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/C-HTHRvYN90" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Knob all the way to left (counter-clockwise)
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1skEJd9KIjg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Knob all the way to right (clockwise)
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/GWy7JW0eh_U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

As you can see by turning the knob clockwise you decrease the pulse rate. Based on the size and rockscape of your tank, you will be able to find a sweet spot where you can have max wave or rapid waves on the left side of the sweet spot or gentle waves on the right side of the sweet spot.
