anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

@Sacohen

I was a bit skeptic at first. If you remember, over a year ago I posted I would try this powerhead once there was there was more concrete evidence that this was a solid product compared to my tunze's/vortech.

I made the leap about a month ago and everything seems solid so far. Hoping these will remain solid but again only time will tell.

So far, I can't complain.. These powerheads are great

I do remember that.
I'm glad you tried it and I'm hope you are happy with it.
I've had my 40 since April and my 25 since June. I just got a DC6000 about a month ago, but haven't hooked it up yet.

The bright side to these is even if they only last 2 years they are cheap enough to just get another 1. you can get like 4 or 5 of these for the price of a Tunze.

Enjoy.

Follow up for me too- been about a month and they are absolutely awesome. My tank is mixed LPS/SPS so I can't run it much more than 65-70% when they're doing a synched wave otherwise the Euphyllias and anemones and even an acro or two get too much flow.

Great video! I'm going to have to program my pumps to do a little bit of wave action at some point in the day, I think. I'm doing mine through my Apex, though.

It should be even better with the Apex. You have infinite more control than the new controller does, but I didn't want to spend the big bucks on the VPM Modules.

Really nice video! you sure have a lot of action on your nem's. Its funny that a couple showed back up after you got the wave action going !

You can see by the tentacles that they don't look like they've seen the light in awhile. I hope they get healthy and look as good as the others. :)

I'm very happy with my Jebao pumps. I've had them since they came out. They've worked great. I thought one broke and I replaced it, but then I pulled it apart and just one of the bushings was dirty and not letting the propeller spin. That's the only problem I've had with them in the year I've had them so far.

Thats good to know, and even if something fails, seems like Fishstreet is johnny on the spot to replace the issue. That alone is hard to match.

I just bought a pair of WP40s for my 180 and I am very pleased with their performance so far.
I have heard that the most likely thing to fail is the adapter that takes it from 110 to 24 volts, but it looks pretty well made to me.
So far so good.
No way would I throw $400 at one Vortech when I got both of these for $227.

Here's the latest video of my tank with the dual controller. The wave effect is awesome. The anemones and corals are responding very well to it.

question with the new controller, ive seen 2 or your new vids about the controller, you mentioned that they dont seem as strong as there were with the normal controllers?

also with the dual controller can you set one pump on a wave and the other pump on like else mode with the new controller?
