Thanks Lorin for posting these.

this gives a great insight into a small snap shot of some of the ProfiLux control software functions.

Clean neatly laid out easy to use and program, over 1,000 programmable functions at your finger tips and the software just keeps getting updated with more and more functionality.

This insight of the control aspect of the system goes along way to explain why ProfiLux is now so highly spoken about.

Remember this is just a snap shot of functions, you still have the salinity, redox, oxygen, humdity, dosing pump control, and more, all at your command throught this software.

Hope it's enough to help anyone, now it's time for a beer...... :p

Wow, that was VERY helpful. Kidney, you just earned that beer. Thank you.

It looks like only 4 pumps can be controlled. Is that right? If I have two Oceans Motions closed loops that I want to turn on and off and then 4 tunze's, am I then over my 4 pump budget?

Also, does anybody have a picture of what the external display looks like? I'm talking about the add on display made to go with the Profilux.

Cheers

Los

Well yes and no, your ocean motions will be controlled with the socket functions and not with the pumps functions. So you are ok for you tunze and you ocean motions will use a socket functions, but I would not suggest to switch the socket 1500 a day you will fry your digital powerbar....
Is it for the feeding pause that you want to control your ocean motions?

Here is your requested pics.

Thanks. That helps. I plan on turning the Closed Loops pumps on and off 4 times per day as I simulate the tides. The pumps will be 2 Sequence Reeflos (probably Dart Golds) and they will be run through Oceans Motions.
Thanks, Los

BTW, just to make sure - it is possible to run the Profilux using Fahrenheit, right?

Look on the bottom right in temp windows you'll see that options.

You sure you don't need a snapper, I have one too many ;)

4 times a day should be fine, you could also included in the feeding pause too.

Los, I am not sure this appiles to your question but in total you can run 8 tunze pumps off a ProfiLux thats 4 more than the tunze controller itself and I think 6 more than another brand of contoller.

You can switch between C and F

You are fine to have a 4 hour alternate closed loop, in fact I am planning the same for our GHL showcase tank.

The View screen picture is a German marketing photo so dont worry the language is in English!

I'm also interested in on getting in on this group buy. I'm looking to purchase the dosing pump (4), and an Elite package. Possibly a few other Profilux items depending on the deal.
