I really like it so far. Can't wait to see updates, it has great potential.

This is my try on aquascaping.
The tank is a 400 gal peninsula and over 90% of the decoration is ceramic rock, made be the company Korallenwelt from Rostock, Germany.
The back wall consists of three panels and the center piece is basically one single structure with some smaller branches and life rock added to it. There is a huge cave inside the central reef.
Here you can see how the pieces were put into the tank, the additional branches and the few pounds of life rock still missing. The bottom is covered with a special cement, looks like coral sand but is solid. This way I can have a BB tank without looking at this ugly glass bottom.

My last tank was also decorated with over 90 % ceramics, it was a 120 gal semi cube. After two years it looked like this

Out of curiosity, I notices a lot of you setting up your awesome rock work configurations in a dry tank. How long can you let live rock sit out before everything dies? Maybe mist it with sea water whole you are working for extra time?

when the ship theyre only wraped in wet newspaper... they survive just fine.. also looks like alot of guys are using dried base rock and then seeding with a few pieces of live rock...

This thread was a huge help to me as I did my rock layout. Thanks to all who have shared their vision and pictures. Here is my rock work.
