Yes, this tank doesn't exist, but I wouldn't call it fake, it's a plan for a tank.

I started it but had to stop because I had to move to another place.

It's inspired on freshwater layouts.

I've seen lots of nice aquascapes on this thread, but if they were to be mixed with pictures from freshwater planted tanks... they would pale in comparison.

With freshwater tanks it's too easy to end up with a complete mess, so there's a stronger need to really aquascape and understand what makes things look good for you.

I tried to do that exercise myself and ended up writing a lot of stuff - http://reef-aquascaping.blogspot.com/

But my own tank breaks all the rules I wrote, just because I became too attached to the way things are for so long and feel sorry to change it.

Wow,:eek2::spin2: you guys have shown your skills to make your tanks more beautiful with rock work, Most of rock work look like natural creation.

If you people do not mind to explain, your strategy to join rocks will help full the aquarist like me who want to create something looks beautiful but no idea.

Specially what kind of adhesive and bunds you used in Rock work.

I made some changes today, lowering the overall height of the rockwork and removing some of the sand to promote a cleaner a tank. I'll post pics later

Some amayzing and inspirational tanks. I just received 75lbs of BRS eco rocks and this thread is a great help in getting ideas for my design. I will post pics when I do my design to hopfully give something back. The before, design and after photos are so cool.

I love it! Where did you get the acrylic rods? I have seen them on macro rocks website with nuts etc... How did you secure everything together after you drilled and inserted the rods?
Thanks! And thanks for posting the pics!
