Are you A hoarder or am I?

I have a whole top shelf of a closet filled with boxes.....I should really sell some gear off to get some of them out of there!
 
I ordered some more boxes from B&H this morning. There's stuff in the boxes though. At least there'd better be!!!!

I remember there was that issue the first Christmas that the PS3 came out, someone sold a box of one on eBay. They had it clearly labelled that it was only the box, without the device, and then someone blew up when they paid several hundred for it.
 
I keep the boxes for the larger and/or more expensive items.

If you ever plan on selling a large plasma tv or plan on moving, having the original box can be crucial for transport.

I keep all camera equipment boxes.

As a wife I was told I have to let him order what he wants since it was MY tank he was taking pics of. That and if he's going to want it down the road, it might as well be now, right?

BTW he got the extension tubes for b'day or xmas (can't remember which) and uses them for a lot of our macro shots.

Yea, problem is, it's my tank, not hers, and I don't take pics of it. It has a bow front that makes it annoying.

What I'm doing is revamping my arsenal. There are two more lenses left to finish this off, the 300 f4 and the 24-70 2.8. I also need a new case to carry all this crp and an AFS 1.4 tele. Then there's a new monopod and probably a new tripod. Could spend the same amount I just did. I'll take my time with the rest.

So you're from Butler??? I'm from New Ken. Want some leathers????
 
Not really. That was the one I got a deal on. I was gonna get the 16-35 you have, and the Tokina 11-16, but that would make having another in the case. Also for shooting for the paper, I need lenses that go full frame, so I'm also making sure the new ones will cover that, which ended up pulling the 11-16. Plus for indoor shooting I wanted the fastest I could get.

He got a 100 2.8 for this xmas and a 50 1.4 for this yr's bday to go with his 5DMKI. (for xmas I put the lens inside the 8million dollar bag I got him, so he didn't even know he got a lens until he started reconfiguring the bag-that was a priceless moment watching his face go from disappointment to joy!)


We finally have stuff to trade, whatcha got?

I don't really want to trade anything. You can have one if you want. I call it my octo-leather. It's been dropping babies for bout a year now.
