Looks nice - I don't really have any leathers except for a toadstool in the undulate's tank, so it will be a nice addition.

Sorry, I guess you missed the joke. There's no 12-24 2.8, only 12-24 f/4 and 14-24 2.8. :)
 
My bad. My mistake for not paying that much attention to what I typed. I know there's quite a few that don't like the 14-24. It was trashed by a few over on that nikon forum and I thought that's where you were going, but most of the pros are blaming the users. There's some really nice shots with it, and quite a few crappy ones.
 
I loved my Tokina 12-24 f/4

Not being able to use that lens anymore is my only regret about going to a full frame sensor.
 
That's what I was thinking also Doug. I remember we talked about it last year. The 11-16 is also a DX lens which is why I dropped it.
 
Yes, you must keep the boxes. And if you don't want them, don't throw them out. You could easily sell the empty boxes and packaging! :)

Wow, xmas in July! With all that new gear you should be busy for some time. I look forward to seeing the results (even if they are soft... ;)).
 
This can't be serious. I know there's "lens lust", but box lust?? :confused:

Funny that I found this post as just yesterday I was told I need to throw out all my empty boxes in the top of my closet to make room for her stuff :headwally: lol.... of course I said no way :celeb1: Out of curiosity what is the market bearing for these empty gold boxes ??? :)
