ATI LED Powermodule - PreOrder Now!

That's personal preference really. A 24" is more than enough to cover a 36" tank, and I prefer the aesthetic look of the aquarium setup as a whole that way. However, a 36" fixture will net you just a little more light output, although not a lot. I think the biggest bonus to going with the 36" fixture here would be getting two clusters of LED's instead of the just the one.

Hi Jeremy - what fixture would you recommend on 60x36x27 it's a marine land 250 gal deep dimension. There is a 1 crossbar in the center. I am leanings towards 8x60 with 4 75 watts cluster.
Also is the fixture available ?

For a 36" front to back tank I would without a doubt go with the 8 bulb fixture. See my post above, post #14, for where the clusters would be located on a 60" fixture. The 60" fixtures will be about another month before they arrive over here.

Jeremy,

Will the T5's be dimmable and is it done only with the ATI controller? Will it be Apex controllable ever? Any word if you will have the 24" 1x75W LED & 8x24W T5 in stock by April?

Thanks

The T5's are dimmable in all models except for the 60". There is no good dimmable T5 ballast on the market that will power 60" lamps. This is all done through the ATI controller. To my knowledge there is not external 0-10v input for this fixture, so control by a Neptune isn't possible at this time. All fixtures will be available in just a matter of a few days except for the 60", which will be another 3-4 weeks.

Jeremey, I know the 60" wont be available for another 3-4 weeks but can I still place an order for one now?

Hi Steve, you sure can. If you want to order it online we'll keep it as a pre-order to ship once as soon as they arrive here.

Great thanks Jeremy!! Have you thought about what bulb combinations should be used in conjunction with the LEDs?

@spotter, It's really going to be hard to say without running one yet. Once I get the shipment here I will hook them up and see how much actual power the LED's have.

@ken, No exact date yet, but once I have it I will post back here.

@blakeorme, Once I get a chance to run one I can make a recommendation.

I placed an order earlier in the week for a 36" fixture. Anxiously awaiting arrival. Please update one you have them!

Jeremy, didn't you say quite a while ago that these were do in the following week, except the 60"?

For that, the lights would have had to be in Customs, or almost. What's the date these can be expected?

Thanks,
Ken

My assumption is that he doesn't have an answer. He's at the mercy of ATI and US Customs, apparently.

I understand that. I'm being persistent because the message that I got over a month ago was that the lights would be in the next week. This means they had to be in Customs or just arriving the USA. I'm an importer and I know the drill.

So to me message was to drum up pre-orders.

I have spent a few grand at Premium Aquatics over the years and that earns me the right to get an accurate answer. This in addition to the fact that I pre-ordered them and paid in advance.

Btw, "I have no idea when we will receive these lights" does constitute an valid reply. Of course that would fly in the face of "they will be in next week".
