thats awesome man... unfortunately i cant color up under mitras

Mike except Mitras I checked all major brands and had no luck with LEDs and sps... After I spoke to you, just before you got your new tank I was almost to buy Mitras as well but I decided to go different route and ended up buing powermodule... That was good decision.
You not gonna be disappointed, trust me

6 bulbs seems right. but, there is only four and eight. Any size appropriate? :uhoh3: Answer please.

4 bulb hybrid is plenty! It's like having a 6-7 bulb ATI T5 only fixture. The LEDs are very impressive.

Ryan is correct. Anyway, an 8tube LED PM will overspill for your tank size. The 36" 4 tube LED PM with twin clusters will be perfect for your tank.

There's no 7 bulb fixture... You can get 4 bulbs or 8.
Is hard to tell which combination is "best"... Depend what you like.
In 8 bulb fixture most popular combo (in my opinion) is something close to:

1- Blue plus
2- Purple plus
3- Blue plus
4- Here is place for white/yellow bulbs people are using from 6500 GE to Aquablue special or coral light
- center row LEDs
5- Here are blue color as well or white/yellow as above
6- Blue plus
7- Purple plus
8- Blue plus

For 4 bulb fixture I think most people are using 2x blue plus and 2x purple plus.

That's the combo I use in my 8 bulb fixture with KZ coral light 10k in spots 4 and 5. Love that combo.

I switched to KZ bulbs as well, my 4th bulb was new generation 14K and 5th was coral light, I didn't really like that new gen 14K it was a little bit to bright so I changed that bulb to coral light...

Hi Guys,
One question:

On the 60" Hybrid, 4-T5, 4 LED, or 8 T5 4 LED, do these run hot ? I have a acrylic tank, and it holds in the heat, would like to know how much heat they produce.

I have the 4 bulb unit over a acrylic tank with an open canopy too. No issues during the winter time at all and would say if you don't have a canopy it would be just fine anytime of the year.

I have something a bit odd happening with my 8 tube 60":

The program works great all day but then the light just shuts off abruptly around 10:30 at night (supposed to dim until midnight). If I do Day Preview, it goes through exactly what I want to see. This happens even if I load the program from the lamp. This tells me that the program is correctly uploaded to the lamp yet I'm missing a portion of my sunset every day when the light abruptly shuts off.

I've been a member of this thread for a long time at this point but haven't seen anyone with this problem. I plan on calling ATI tomorrow but wondered if anyone had thoughts.
