ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

Looks like you have the same problem that I do. Waiting for ATI to open to try and get an answer. I have not upgraded the firmware yet (my controller has an SST sticker on it) so hoping that this is the solution.
Let me know how/if you resolve the issue

I was all excited that my new light came in only to find that i could not change the number of clusters. I have the new 7 node led's on a 3' fixture so there are 2 clusters. Can't load my program because the controller thinks it has 4. The old secret code doesn't work and the "new one" ( hold 4 outer the upper lower middle, resets the controller but I don't see anywhere to indicate that I have 2 clusters. Can anyone help? I feel dressed up with no where to go! ATI really needs to upgrade their instructions.

This hot pink Millepora was absolutely ravaged by the bastard AEFW's. Had a colony...this frag was made up from 3 branches I cut off and kept. It has grown and joined together. Previously it didnt have green polyps...the pink is starting to appear on the corallite edges.

Frag given to me by my buddy. Looks lovely when grown. Starting to get colour.

Bought because it had blue tips in the LFS tank and I though it was a Blue Millepora...well it bloody isnt. It has started to get red/purple branches, with a green base and blue tips! Notice the bright blue growth ring too. :)

Other side. It is sitting directly below an ATI AquaBlueSpecial and pulling some awesome colours. I speak highly of this tube, but most people bash this tube and say it washes out colours. Not for me. Given time, this tube by ATI is pretty cool.

And finally an FTS.

Stunning bro

How do you swap T5s out from unit while it's hanging. I tried to get the T5s to twist and there is not much room to get my fingers in there. Is this a common issue? What's the easy way around this?

I find this difficult also, I'm afraid im going to brake a bulb getting it out.

Let me know also if you get word from ATI on a resolution. Was playing with my fixture today and it seems the day preview option doesn't work for me. Also, it lost time when I unplugged it for 5 seconds. Odd stuff.

I downloaded the new firmware but that was of little help. The ATI rep walked me throught yhe same reset procedure which did not solve the problem. He emailed me some instructions but still not a cure. Waiting to hear back. Im not having the clocknissue that you are. I set up a 4 cluster program on my 2 cluster unit and it appears to be working. Stay tuned

Having previously had a Sunpower which was a breeze to remove bulbs, I found it difficult to remove/swap bulbs on the Powermodule.

But now find it just as easy. I rest my chin against the front of the edge of the unit and then using both hands twist the tubes towards me. Works perfectly every single time. ;)

Thanks Ill give it a try next time ;)

Good idea. I will change the angle of the unit to face me using the hanging bracket to achieve the same effect. Yet it's a bit harder getting to the bulbs at the back of the unit.

Sahin! I am very happy that your tank is recovering, corals looks really good

Thanks. :) It also goes to show that this ATI fixture is pretty awesome and no one here has any excuses in getting their corals coloured up. If they arent coloring up, then look at the water quality and parameters. :fun4:

After many long months of waiting, and with the help of Matt from ATI North America, he was able to get me brackets to deal with the sagging acrylic shield on my 8x80w fixture.

It's not the best looking item, nor the most elegant solution. It's a simple L-bracket, so I'm not sure why ATI took so long to get this to me. It is what it is at this point.

ATI asked me to send them videos and during the 4th take, all of a sudden the "# of spot" question came up. I guess the controller never reset correctly before. After that all of my issues vanished. If you have the set version (sticker on the controller leg) upgrade the firmware and try resetting. The staff at ATI were very responsive. Tank looks like the fish are playing in Yankee stadium now.
