ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

Thank you for the info, I might give a shot and try two tubes . Looks like you have full spectrum , corals will love it. On other hand you have lots of blue light I guess it matter of taste .
My bulbs configuration front to back: B-C-B-P-LEDs-B-ABS -B-C and I feel I am missing 10k bulbs , maybe I am wrong but I am trying to come up as close as possible to my previous set up with 400w Radiums ( best light ever for SPS)

Have you run FM tubes before, what is the differeent between B+ and FM Ultra blue?

Are the fm royal blue better than blue plus or the gieseman equivilant? Have just got the gieseman blue actinic to replace blue plus and I think they might be a bit more blue.

I think blue actinic has no green and so is more blue than blue plus. Also the FM Royal Blue (24k) is the most blue bulb you can get followed by Red Sea Actinic (22k) and KZ Super Blue (20k). At least that's how I read them. Maybe someone has a pic of them up side by side.

Any comments on if I should change my bulb configuration? 5'x2'x2' planning to be SPS dominant

Front to Back - B+ C+ B+ ABS LED C+ B+ C+ B+

SPS Dominant

Thanks!

Looks good but may be an overall white combo. If you like that then stay with it and it will grow SPS. If not I would switch from B+ to Giesemann Actinic Blue or Red Sea Actinic which tend to be more blue without the green/white. Also I would drop a C+ and go with a pure actinic bulb like Giesemann Super Actinic. But at the end of the day it's individual color prefs so it's what looks good to you.

I think FM Ultra Royal Blue is pure blue 24k. Never seen one but I have the RedSea Actinic which is a 22k bulb so it must be close. Blue plus has some green and white in it.

I think the light is too white as well.

B+ C+ B+ ABS LED C+ B+ C+ B+

to something like?

B+ C+ Actnic ABS LED Actnic B+ C+ B+

I've just sent you a custom light profile. You can adjust the times when they come on/off etc. But overall, keep the profile as it is. I have staggered the LED clusters to come on and turn off 10 minutes of each other...which is a nice effect.

If your corals can take more light hours then adjust the times. If things start to pale, then back down on the light hours or intensity.

The best combo for both colour and growth is 4xC+ & 4xB+.

Currently I am running 2xB+, 2xPS Crystal Blue, 3xC+ and 1xABS. I'm getting very nice colours and growth.

You can go with 4xB+, 1xActinic, 2xABS and 1xC+ for a nice overall "fuller spectrum".

I did run things more on the blue side when my corals werent as nicely coloured, but now they look nice under a 1:1 Blue:white combo.

What matters most is water quality and nutrition of corals.

OK :)

So for the 4 bulbs :

2 KZ New Generation (14000K)
1 KZ Purple
1 KZ Superblue (20000K)

Is it good for you ?
I am not familiar with KZ bulbs but I think yes the above would work. In a 4 bulb set up don't go with pink/purple or pure actinic since they are generally lower par I think. Personally I would go with 2 B+, 1 ABS and 1 C+.

Hybrid arrived and installed. It's replaced two Kessil A360s which didn't live up to expectations.
