automatic water change

Dave- Apex idiot here. If i get a salinity probe, what other module do i need to get?

PM2 module though I'm not sure it helps, here's a graph of mine over 1 week

Stenner is the best for a quick set up.

They have other pumps that you can adjust flow on each head as well. Same thing more or less as adjusting the tubes. Stenners from what I see don't have that option. You have to "restrict" it some how just like tightening up the tubes.

It's all common sense guys...

Why a hesitancy "if it helps?". I think you can see a trend there in the past 2 days. Is that number PPT, or just a random number.

Screw it, lets all stop this madness and toss out our protein skimmers. Stop using screen tops and go back to glass tops. Stop with two part too because that messes with salinity too..

Ok nvm april fools :)

running the masterflex heads here

I was one of the first to get it up and running, if not thee first on these other pumps, and I've also been doing over 20% a week water changes... a full box of reef crystals and part way through the 2nd bag of the next box on only a 75g system...

I started at 1.026, I mix to 1.026, and I'm still 1.026 since I've been up and running. My mixing barrel is level with my sump and I feed down under the house to the drain, so no head pressure, if anything a little bit of suction on the return line but I doubt it has any.

Do these stenner pumps you guys are using have fixed rollers or are they the spring loaded ones that have adjustable tension?

So Eddie after you get the Litermeter, test it and decide that's they way you want to go would you sell the Stenner at half price. :)

Lending?

Lending?

Specrapure reached out and they will be lending me a Liter meter with two heads for me to run an objective, and fair comparison. Stay tuned for results. It wont be here till May though. So hang tight.

Eddie,

We will not be lending, but we will be donating this equipment to the club. After you tinker with it, and display your results on the forum; you can raffle it off for a lucky club member.

We appreciate your club, and all fellow reefers!

Very nice of you guys! :love1:

Nice of me?

Nice of me?

I want to thank all of you for your support. I know that some of you use the Spectrapure products, and my customers mean everything to me. I am not required to go on the forums after work hours, but often I will get on at home. IF anyone has any questions about RO, RODI, ATO, AWC, etc. I will do my best to answer technical questions.

I hope that you all have a fantastic day, and if I ever overstep my boundaries on your forum please let me know. The last thing that I want to do is upset anyone.

Thank you very much.

Jeremy,

What would your kit consist of to do the following:
- Remove X Gallons from Sump to Drain
- Replace same X Gallons from storage container to Sump

What's the complete list of hardware you'd need?
