<<< If you read my post correctly you'll see that THEIR PO4 test results showed a LOWER level than mine. It would be easy to use their results and say I have no PO4 problem, but my results say differently.

I KNOW my results are correct because I have tested my instrument and technique against saltwater to which PO4 was added to bring it to a known concentration. The meter repeatedly measured it correctly, within the accuracy of the colorimeter. Because of this I KNOW their results are off. >>>

I think my PO4 is also probably somewhat higher then my results showed from AWT. I'm also nearly certain my silica is nowhere near as high as they said as my RO/DI water runs through 3 seperate semiconductor grade DI stages and also a 100% silica removing stage, everything else seemed fairly reasonable to me.

Interesting, their P04 results are exactly the same as mine when I tested with my Hanna Photometer. I wonder why some people are getting different results? I hope mine are always spot on...I will let you guys know if my reading are ever questionable.

Enthusiastically Unsubscribing...

Agree, sad to see multiple threads go to waste.

I agree. Lets get back to the issues at hand before this thread is closed like the other.

Thats my question! :D
If you have a silica test kit yourself, you could try testing the water before and after dosing? That should give you a good estimate of ~ how much silica is being added even if your kit isn't that accurate to start with.
