I have a pair, not necessarily mated, but they are about 3'' and have the dark black looking body with little brown around the face. What is the chance that I bought them both as mature females? I mean is there the possiblity that they may continue to grow and one may become the dominant female. Do they get much larger than the males like a tomato would?

Basically they are the same as the other clowns, females are much bigger than the males, and once they are females they cant change their sex to male. Safe way is getting a big and small ones.

Keep an eye on their movements. If they are both females they'll kill each other.

yea, i heard if you have 2 females, then you will end up with the stronger one...

i got a pair, my female is like 2 time bigger? i bought them at the same time same size... both were in a talk with a larger female... that is how i knew i had 2 males...

I got mine at about an inch and one half, they look to be about two inches each with maybe one being slightly bigger in gerth and length. IF they reach 3" at adulthood, will one just stop growing now and they other get bigger, or they both get big and the female get larger than 3"?

Basically yes - realize that the size difference in bw ocellaris is not as dramatic as the difference observed in the Tomatos, Clarkiis and other clowns.
