Here is an interesting development. As the anemone is starting to relax, I noticed the inner tentacles turning green. When I took the pic, I realized that only the shaft of the tentacles are green but the tips are still purple. Don't know if I have seen anything quite like it, but it pretty cool.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that it continues to do well.

WOW! I guess we can forget about the haddoni theory.

It looks much better than it did in the first pic. Incredible job. That's going to be one awesome anemone when it gets bigger.

The picture is a little misleading. There is no doubt in my mind that it is a haddoni.

Phil has seen gigantea, haddoni, mertens, tapetum, etc., first hand...He has this one up close and personal, if he says it is haddoni...I would not bet against him ;>)

Still changing my answer, lol. But I'd love to see the underside of it. Does it quiver those tentacles at all? Are those tips bulby at all?

There are no colored verrucae under the oral disk. The tentacles don't vibrate at all. The tentacles are almost always bulbed at the tips.
Like I said, the pic is very misleading. That pic would have had me wondering too if I didn't get to see it all the time. Maybe it is because I cleaned the glass shortly before I took the pic.
I wish it was a gigantea, I truly do, but its not.

Here is a pic in its normal conformation taken this morning. Not looking so much like gigantea.
