Back after 2 1/2 Year Hiatus - New 225 on the way

I knew this would get TOTM!! I've been telling everyone your tank is amazing!! In addition, you're from CT (somewhat close to me)!

Keep up the good work!!

Oh, I have 2 questions since I've been researching my next upgrade. Have you had any fish jump since you have an open top?

In addition, how is the humidity in the room the tank is in d/t all of the evaporation?

Thanks!!

Awesome job man, congrats again... makes me happy to see one of my fav corals ever grace the sandbed of such a gorgeous tank... and a TOTM no less :D

Yep, Your tank definitely deserves the recognition again. Thanks for the inspiation.

Congratulations!!!! Very nice tank. I was at your home on a service call for your water system a while back in the early stages of the build and your wife was nice enough to show me everything and the end result WOW!! If you ever need to get rid of some frags i live nearby and would be more than happy to take some off your hands.

Oh snap! Again!?! :eek2: That's awesome Keith! I gotta see your tank next time I'm in your area. If that's ok with you of course? :D

Congratulations again bro!

Congrats Reefbum, nice comeback....can we expect a new build for a three peet :D....I don't think it has ever been done in RC history

This tank is just beatiful inside and out....love the look of the stand/tank/light combo....well done.

Uh yeah... I love the look of YOUR stand too. :p :D ;)

So just curious up above you stated that you were thinking of stoping the doseing of AA, and was wondering if you did that for awhile or not. If you did, did you notice and changing and did you go back to the AAs.

Congrats on TOTM very nice tank and well deserved.

Many thanks Sara, mcliffy2, mpoletti, Tom, Ed, and Nick!

Thanks eaglesrx! No jumpers and no humidity problems.

Thanks volcom69. Yes....I have stopped dosing AAs for the past month or so and I have been using Roti-Feast and Oyster-Feast instead. I believe my colors have gotten better. I need to post this info in the TOTM thread.

Many thanks dunham16. I have to do a lot of trimming so you can certainly stop by.

Thanks Chad. I appreciate all the advice on the light fixture. As for the 3 peet, it takes a lot of work to start a new tank so I hope this tank is in for a nice long ride :)

Congratulations!

I knew this tank would be TOTM. I loved it so much when I saw it, I showed it to the wife and made it my computer screen background. The picture will help me convince the wife on the next upgrade.

Congratulations on TOTM, very well deserved, your corals look beautiful! I have one question, being that your stand is empty, why did you build the equipment box next to it rather than keep that equipment under the stand?

Many thanks RevHtree, Joe and DiazE!

So how often do you feed roti-feast and oyster-feast thanks
1 teaspoon of each every night mixed in with the fish food. I keep the skimmer on. SPS and LPS definitely react when I put it in.

Thanks jrpdriver! I built the box because I wanted to be extra safe and keep the ballasts and other electronic devices away from any possible water leaks or drips. The ballasts are also warm so I avoid adding heat to the tank by keeping them in a remote location.
