hey guys, silly question but how do you go from the MD headquarters to 5 south without entering the carpool lane?? what I did was I turned right after exiting MD (one way street) then made a U-turn and climbed the bridge... then turned LEFT (it says 5 south) but when I turned left I "landed" right on the carpool lane with no option to get out!! Good thing I was with my wife and son or else I would've gotten a ticket. Next weekend I might be going by myself..... please help. thanks

Go right on Gene Autry to State College, go right on State College, go under the freeway & S/B 5 entrance is on the right.....

You exit marine depot make a right on state college and all your freeways will be right there on your right hand side after like half a mile. That ramp is i think was specifically designed for cars exiting angel stadium are typicallly directed straight to the freeway. I could be wrong, but this is an option

5S, exit Orangewood, go L under fwy. L on Anaheim Way, R on Stanford, L on Santa Cruz, R on Gene Autry.

LOL. Now, I don't feel as bad as I did the exact same thing. And I was by myself!! The wife would not have been happy with a $400.00 carpool lane ticket. Those two pumps would have been really expensive!!

I've seen people going to Marine Depot from west of Gene Autry just take a short cut by going the wrong way for 100 feet straight onto Marine Depot's driveway instead of the going around the Gene Autry loop.

is this the stuff thats left over from the last sale or is there gonna be new stuff ? just wanted to know if it would be worth driving down to LA again. we got some great deals last time.

I am told that there may be new stuff as well. there was a lot of stuff there that many did not know was there as they were still in boxes. MD is working on a more friendly display to show these products.

Sweet! There was a LOT of stuff on the bottom of all those pallets... seems like everybody just sifted through the stuff on top with no boxes... I will definately be back for the next one!

Man I'd kill to get a job at MarineDepot. Working with reef stuff and reefers all day? Access to used and discounted stuff...OMG.

After the Lakers' season-ending loss, the only thing that's keeping me excited is this sale.

i agree, this is an even that every reefer should check out for great prices on great products. some stuff was a little banged up (like my light) but a little (actually a little more than a little for me) elbow grease and one could barely tell (if at all) that stuff is from a scratch and dent sale!

a lot of hidden treasures were there if you took the time to look through boxes. Mchava and I found a litermeter III with an additional pump which I believe Richard bought and also the newer style AC JR. It just didn't have an ac adapter.

Marine Depot will move to new location. Therefore they will sell as many as they can.
