Bartlett Anthias sex change

Question: Is Bartlett anthias' sex change a two way street (male->female->male)? I bought a trio of "MFF" bartlett from DD and one of the "F" appears to be a changing "M", the fish guy at DD told me they should just change back to female if there is a male there. Is that true? There isn't any visible aggression among the three yet, but should I be worried?

I was under the impression the gender change was just the one way, female to male (it's the other way around with clownfish). I've kept a bazillion anthias and never had one go male to female. Bartlett's are notorious for 'multiple males'. In a 180, males that have changed in your tank should be fine. These are chippy fish regardless.

I never had one change back to female, but probably will just stay as a sub male with the presence of a dominant male. There also maybe some bickering to maintain that dominance.

Thanks for your input guys. So I am planning to acquire a few more female this way the male and the "sub_male" won't go bickering over the long female. Do you think if I get a few more female they'll split into two groups or will they just all fall under one male with the sub male fall in the rank?
