Bean's 300 Gallon AGE Build

Bean's 300 Gallon AGE Build

I cut the first three panels of the expanded pvc for the skin. I still need to epoxy the magnets onto the back side.

Problems I encountered.

1. It's really flexible in 4x8 sheets. Hard to cut on a small table saw.

2. It's soft so to speak, so I scratched it a few places. If I were to do it again I'd order new sheets or a material with paper over it like how acrylic comes.

It's temporary so not such a big deal but keep it in mind if you use this type of material.

Looking great Cody. I can envision a small shoal of little blue tangs schooling together however brief before they turn on each other. A few Springeri Damsels would add some great color and they're not punks

Thanks Rik. I started looking at the less aggressive damsels. I may try some of the springeri. You think 12 would be a good number?

I like that you are taking it slow.. this is definitely the right way to go. However, we better get a BOOM update after RAP!!

I don't know about 12 simply because of bioload that can go to more variety of fish but I think you could. I'd go up to 6. There's two Damsels I see called Springeri. The ones I'm referring to are the blue/black variety. I really like the fish. No aggression ever in my cube

Theyre in your tank. I'll be by don't worry. Attached the magnets to the skin panels yesterday. The magnets are holding great. Just need to do two side panels now. Ordered the rest of the carx parts I needed to hook it up to the manifold. Should be here Tues.

I installed a Phillips Hue Hub and LED strip for under the tank. We need one more for the other side. Alex approved the color.
