in-laws are over here for the next 3 days.

I hope they stick to their Coors light, Corona and Budweisers.

Don't touch my Sierra Nevada!!!!!!!

swilly!

swilly!

LOL!

I drank Genny for a long time when I was much younger (teens).
I'm a big fan of supporting LBM's (local brewmasters).
A couple of summers ago I was dying for an ice cold beer and I only had enough money for a 6 pack of Genny.

How the heck could I ever drink that stuff? It's gross.

Even now... it's tough to down a LaBatt's. My taste has evolved since the start of this thread.

What Cdga Lake do you like, Justin?

Ohh the nasty beers we drank when we were younger...like Ol'Milwaukee's Best for $3 a 12 pack ;)

Custom Brewcrafters Cdga Lake is in the fridge as well as Ithacas Flower Power..one of those left :(

My wife is a little perturbed about the cost difference, to be sure. $8-10 a sixer of quality IPA vs the same for a 12-rack of Amerkin lagers. She gives me a little heat, but I play on her tender mercies to allow me my guilty pleasures.

Soon the air will turn warm and empty Corona 12er's will fill the garage. Heavy beers will be given the summer off.....for the most part.....

So, how much was that bottle of wine honey?????

Anyone try any of the Three Heads stuff?

Just popped this bad boy to have with some pizza a little later.

It's good. Not a heck of a lot of hop nose, but it's a solid IPA. (I thought the label was cool, too.)

Do I have to turn in my Man Card if I'm drinking Coronas? Started with Torpedo, but ran out. On to the leftovers from Cinco details Mayo.

too funny

too funny

There's nothing like a Torpedo!
I finished all the Coronas left by my Easter guests on Cinco deMayo with some FLAMING hot and spicy homemade tacos.

Right now I'm sampling some Sam Adams "Rustic Saison" while hanging out on the back deck in the sun and it's pretty good!

Three Heads stuff looks interesting, Scott. Where do you find these crazy looking beers?

I've got a ton left but as the darkness comes, our newborn comes to life like the Nosferatu. Can't be sleepy from the beers. Need all my faculties. On to the diet Pepsi. I hate the downtime, but its worth it. DRINK UP FELLERS!

Gary, the Three Heads came from Wegmans. They've really done a lot with their beer selection in all of their stores over the past year. I've moved on to homebrewed amber ales for the rest of the evening.

I start my home brew today. Shooting for something similar to lagunitas hop stoopid.
I found an interesting app on the android market called beer +. Lets you share beer reviews with others around the world.

Wah-zoh,
If you're using Android, get the Brewzor Pro Beta app from the market. It's a nice (free) app with lots of brewing calculators that really comes in handy.

Jackpot baby!!!!

Jackpot baby!!!!

Day off. Lets go to the zoo with both kids ....uh, ok honey (kill me). Way home, can we stop at Wegmans ....with both kids.....(shoot me twice in the left eye Bin Laden-style).

Carrying daughter through the prepared foods section and wife says "Look honey! A Sierra Nevada tasting!" I didn't even feel myself run over to the table. Another customer says "you should have seen the look on your face".

SNPA, Torpedo, Summerbrew, Kellerweiss, and Daddy's READY TO SHOP!

I still went home with Torpedo, soon to be available in 12ers! I did acquire SOME information.
