I took my Father in-law to lunch today and this is what I got in return

300g acrylic tank, stand with a piano black finish and matching canopy, with a dolphin amp master pump and a bunch of other goodies.

The last shot shows how cramped my fish room is right now, I am redoing the floor while I swap tanks. I will be getting rid of my 150 and the 110 as part of my deal with the devil, I mean my WIFE:rolleyes: .

I just had to share with some people who understand the addiction.

Better hope she doesn't read this forum with a comment like that... May be the worst $10 you've ever spent ;)

So you're saying all I gotta do is get married, take the InLaw out to dinner(heck it can even be a FANCY dinner) and then I get a 300g acrlyc? What sort of time frame should I expect in recieving said tank? Will he deliver it for me? HAHAHA LUCKY!

No chance she will ever read this, she can't stand the fish hobby.

The tank was my father in-laws, he had the 300G, a 375G, a 250G Bow front, and a 90G hex all in the same very, very large room. He is down sizing to just the 375 due to lack of time to take care of all the tanks.

I had my choice of the 300 or the 250

This tank is awesome however I only have a 10' ceiling in my fish room and I would not be able to open the canopy, that is an 8' door next to it:eek1:. I have gone all over Fla with him to pick these tanks up and this 250 is the heaviest tank I have ever moved and he has had lots of big fish tanks. This is the only tank left for sale now. I think he wants $1400.

and yes he did help deliver it.:smokin:

Holy crap, that 250 is gorgeous!!! Looks like a total PITA to do any maintenance to, though. I have planted tanks, and they can be frustrating..keeping new plants anchored and such. Then the trimming..I can't imagine doing all that with a tank that tall!

Jee, I guess some have all the luck when you have a Ball and Chain that won't let you out the door with a credit card!!
