Big Sohal Tang

I want to thank Kevin Kohen at Live Aquaria for getting this fish for me.
She's a good 9 -10 inches ( "show"). They had this fish in the facility since June, and it's a beauty. Plump stomach, and thick from the sides. What a healthy tang should look like. It's in one of my quarantine tanks ( 40gal),and is eating very well. With that being said. Kevin and the crew at Live Aquaria,Diver's Den are the best hands down when it comes to customer service + healthy livestock. One of their staff even emailed me asking how I liked the fish, and if it made it to my door ok..:thumbsup:

Jealous, congrats on that beauty. Do you think a 4'x8'x32" tank would be big enough for one? ;) kinda kidding, but I have always really wanted one. I have a tang community tank and I know the Sohals don't usually play nicely with others. Maybe when it comes time for me to pull the trigger I will try to get ahold of Kevin.

A 4' tank would be good to quarantine one.:lmao:

Thank's bro. Yeah Sohals can be aggressive, but I have seen powder blue tangs that have been more aggressive. I guess it does boil down to the fish. 7 years ago I had a 10 inch Sohal tang that was real mellow, and cool. I kept this fish for 5 years in a 240 with a show size Queen Angel, Annularis Angel, Blochii Tang (sp?)..

She :)

Seriously though, lovely fish. I hope he continues to do well for you. What tank is he going in?
