Black saddleback behavior

Why does the female Black saddleback constantly keep the male in check.This is my second pair,both wild caught,that have displayed this behavior.She will chase him for short periods of time.I've had other types of clowns before and never seen them act like this.Just curious if anyone else has noticed this too.

Idk maybe she want to keep him tough and remain a male :~)

giantxtc- shiggs may be on to something. The only time I have ever had a male (of a spawning pair) change to a female was with a blk saddle. The female was not agressive at all. So maybe it is a good thing she is so mean.
