Blue spot jawfish

Need to get this guy to eat!
Been 5 days now since I got him and nothing!

I've tried, pe mysis, rods regular, larrys reef food, brine, live brine.. Live black worms. Nothing

I've kept lots of fish over the last 20 years just never this one. Need help

Apex show all parameters are great. In qt with royal gramma. No aggression.
Lots of pvc and a crushed coral dish that he ignores. Suggestions please

Do you have access to any live brine or live black worms maybe? Sometimes they can be hard to get eating.

All you can do is keep trying them and pray it starts to eat. Most of us have been there. The point is the live is the best shot.

He won't eat until he has a safe place to retreat to.
Dump the dish and put the gravel in one corner. Ideally also add to that corner a piece of PVC pipe that is just big enough for him and weigh it down with some rock.
He should start building a burrow and as soon as he feels safe start to eat.

If not he may have been caught with cyanide. Can you find out where this particular bluespot came from?
To his accord Steve Robinson of Baja Reef has currently the only legal license to collect and export them from Mexico and he catches all his fish exclusively with hooks and nets. But he told me there are some others that collect bluespots in Baja without a legal license (bribes get you everything down there) and some of them use cyanide.
