bluest 20k DE hqi bulb?

I am trying to find out which bulb is bluer than the 14k DE pheonix bulb on a hqi ballast.

Yeah, I had an AB20 along side a 14k Pheonix and the Pheonix was way whiter/bluer.
I also heard that Ushio 20K was more purple.
I am looking for the bluest 20k.

If you dont care about cost, get a Radium 20k HQI bulb... PAR values not as high as the BLVs but you get that nice intense blue when compared to the Pheonix 14k
(kinda har to find too though...) I think reefgeek.com might have em, not sure though

Helios 20K is by far the bluest I have seen. It's like an actinic on steroids. The new Ushio 20K is simular in Color to the Phoenix but does have a hint more purple.

do agree the Helios are good bulbs very nice blue tint to them i run 2-250W DE's on my 100 right now and they make the corals look nice and i get some good growth outta my softies and sps

Yeah, there is a 50k, its made by EYE Iwasaki 150w. Seen that one too, not as blue as you would think.
Is the Helios 20k a DE?
How would you compare the XM 20K DE vs Helios 20k DE?

i get the helios out here at one of my LFS's in thousand oaks thats all they carry as far as DE bulbs go they swear they are the best i know everyones gotta an argument for that but i like them and they do give off a nice color

The 50K Iwasaki is whiter than a phoenix looks like a 10K w/ Actinic. This bulbs is only available in 150 watt
