Crazy 4-

The first time i saw a cube tank i new i would someday get one, This and your original thread have all but sealed the deal.

I am sorry about your tang but those Japanese anthias are cool
You have some of the most interesting fish i have seen. But this is probably because i am on the east coast.

Thank you guys!

trueblackpercula, I used 40lb of CaribSea Arag-Alive, and it's about 1 and a half inch deep, I will be changing it every 6-12 months in small increments.

Still one of my favorite threads.

Have you noticed any sagging or stretching with the zip ties?

So far so good. Funny you mentioned that cause I also took that into consideration, before I finalized the joints with the putty I would double up all the zip ties for added strength. The overhang in pretty solid and would take a bit of force to break it.

Crazy, are you still running a Radiumâ€"in your latest pics?

WOW good eye dude, I am currently experimenting with a bulb combo of a 250w XM 20k and a 400w Reeflux 12k all in my pendant.

The bulbs are side by side and the XM turns on for 8hrs 11am-7pm, the Reeflux turns on for 6hrs 12pm-6pm. Looks great when both are on, I'm still experimenting with hours and may lessen the 400w reeflux to 5hrs next week.

It certianly makes your colors POP a lot more... I like both those bulbs. I've seen some great tanks under that Reeflux 12K. How did you fit two bulbs in the Lumenarc? Is it HOT...?!

I placed 2 sockets side by side with about a inch gap in between it fits pretty nicely. It does get very HOT when they are both on but my chiller has no problem cooling the tank, I don't like the look of fans and so I will probably bump down the 400w to 4hrs in two weeks.

So sorry to hear about your tang. It may not matter much, but I suspect the fish was already ill when it became trapped on the pump. I realize it's only a very small fish, and I could be wrong about this, but I think a healthy fish would have been able to avoid being sucked onto the pump, or at least escape. In any case, I wish you the best of luck in nursing it back to health. I agree with James that infection is its biggest threat at this point. Garlic-soaked nori may provide some benefit as well. Keep us posted.
Sorry about your BT- but I do agree with above.
keeps us posted and good luck- great tank.
