Bought a new house, upgrading my tank after the move!

My wife and I just bought a nice country home with a finished basement. I told my wife once we had a bigger home with some space, I was getting a 180, she's good with it. So I'll be selling off my 46 bowfront and starting fresh with a 180 when we move. I'll be back with crap loads of questions to prepare for the build.

Definitely following as I have just bought a house too and will be upgrading from a 55 to a 90 with a sump. Except without a basement lol Congrats on the new house!!!

Sounds awesome look forward to the new thread. Good luck! Anything you taking frrom the bowfront over or starting fresh entirely?

Gonna start fresh entirely. The bowfront is just a fowler with 3 fish in it. I'd rather not have to sort out moving a tank as well as everything else, so I'll just sell off the livestock.

Congrats on the new house. Cant wait to see the tank

We are in the middle of upgrading our Display sump on our 240 . since we have extra money as we paid off our house in the early spring

jimmer. not sure if you have the budget for it. or the space. but i put my 265 upstairs and ran pipes downstairs. so much easier to work on sump not under cabinet plus you can also add more tanks downstairs

I've considered a 265 as well, I'm definitely going to keep the tank in the basement, but I am thinking of having it back onto a wall and have the sump on the opposite side of the wall in a utility room where I can have my RODI system setup as well.
