Brian's 270 Starphire

It looks a lot like an exquista I used to have. In fact, I've noticed that some of the base had made it and its starting to spread. That would be my best all-time comeback :)

Never really tried to ID it. I might have to send a piece in for an ID ;).

Yep, I can see it now, In the future you will be RC club photographer. LOL
The problem I have with my SLR is there are sooo many different settings you can try.
When I find one I like, the next time I go to use my camera, I have forgotten.

Hell I don't know what I'm doing. I just set it to manual mode and shoot in Raw. For every good picture I shot... there are probably 3 or 4 bad one. Just experiment ;).

Manjanos do suck!!! My 90 gal was full of them until my Emperor took care of them.

BTW nice collection you had.

 Nice photos Brian, that sunset looks really healthy. I'm trying to figure out how to slow my sunset down. I've heard of kalk paste, glue, epoxy and hot water. I'm thinking of using some epoxy, just molding a piece over it and cutting off any light. Any other ideas?

Great question Dan! I've killed just about everything other than the sunset on my main rockwork piece, so pretty soon it will be the only sps covering that huge rock in the tank. I'd like to limit the growth of it as well in my tank and would love to know how! :uzi:

Thanks Dan! You could always frag it :).

This is why I have mine on it's own rock that can be easily remove. I knew it grew like a weed, but it's still one of the better looking monti's ;).
