Bryopsis possible solution

id like to try this with other algaes and get results

^^ This.

It seems to be successful against Bryopsis and Derbesia....has anyone else witnessed the medication's effects on any other algae? Green Hair? Turf? Bubble?

And I still haven't seen any confirmations on the medication's effects on Macro-algae other than Chaetomorpha. Is anyone trying this with Caulerpas? Halymenias? Sargassum? Any negative results with these Macros?

My coralline was uneffected. I havnt had any regrowth, and my tank is algae free, i love it!

Good to know, how long has it been since you started treatment and since its been algae free?

Do you all still continue your regular tank maintenance through out the process, ex. water changes, dosing, etc...

I did nothing for the full 15 days, and its been i think 2 weeks since i finished up.

I only turned my algae scrubber back on the other day.

Usual bi-weekly harvest from my small turf scrubber. Seems unimpacted.

I treated my tank last week Thursday at a rate of 5mg/gallon. I had some product on hand but not enough for the full rate treatment. Today my bryopsis is essentially gone on my 300 gal system. AMAZING. Looks like the lower limit of the dose could be explored.

Great input! Less is always better if we can confirm less works. Anyone have a group of plagued systems who wants to volunteer experiments with lesser doses? It would be great to know the minimum dose.

Quite the difference from the 19mg/gallon i used. How much coverage and mass of the stuff was there though? Some of these others have had very little mass and coverage in my view, and maybe that would make a difference in dosage. It would seem to make sense that the stuff absorbs the flucon and that is what causes death, so its not really a tank volume thing but a algae volume.
