Bta help!

So I've had my green bubble tip anemone in my tank now for about a week. Everything has been great until today. It fully bubbles up and has been eating I fed it once. The foot is fully attached but the mouth is completely open and white. Nitrate levels in my tank are about 15ppm. All other tests are reading zero. I'm running the orbit Marine LED light and it has been doing fine under it for the past week. Does anybody have any suggestions to what could be causing this? I've heard everything from its hungry too it's pooping.. to adequate water.

Might want to provide more detailed water parameters rather than "rest are zero". Also people might want to know age of tank as well.

how long has your tank been established?

i doubt that this is the cause at this point of only being a week, but i would seriously recommend upgrading lights if you plan on keeping anemone. i googled the orbit and "Fixture output of 36 watts includes 144 LEDs" if not much kick for nems, imo.

it was a aqua-cultured one.

tank has been running about 4 months. but i cured my rock for another 2 months.

it looks fine this morning. i did a water change yesterday while it looked bad and its all bubbled up looking good this morning. other people have told me similar things. this was more or less an experiment because i have had success keeping lps towards the bottom where the recommendations say lps should be kept towards the top.

it keeps on wanting to hide though. Im not sure what that is all about. it will walk behind my rocks and be fully bubbled in a cave in the rocks..almost getting away from light..i know..doesnt make sense
