this look great , it's look like 1" of skimate for 1/2 hour is this truth or i am wrong ?

because if it's truth you get every 10 hour 20" of skimate

Feels good that someone agrees with me, so far everyone thought that the BK would be a better choice.

I was thinking about the H&S as I said in the previous post. But the Deltec AP 1004 with the SCH should be able to perform better. The H&S A 300-3x1260 is about a 1000$ cheaper then the AP 1004, so me picking the AP 1004 is definitely not a price issue.

The Ap 1004 without the SCH was still a couple of hundred $ more expensive then the H&S A 300-...

mavgi:
thanks! Im sure that the AP 1004 will make me satisfied =)

I have seen the AP902 in action. That is unbelieveable, 30+" full of bubble. I like the AP 1004, it looks powerful. Good luck and i hope you will enjoy the AP 1004 Daniel. Please post some pic so we all can enjoy the beast :)

Tanya, your fish will love you for that. But your protein skimmer will go crazy for couple hours. I have been feeding my tank with Artic pod, Roti Feast, Phyto Feast. All corals respond very well with PE and coloration.

Daniel, very rediculous for me to agree with you on the deltec or H&S vice BK. There is reason for me to agree with you on the deltec.

1. 4 pumps always better than 1 pump. Incase 1 pump down, you still have 3 pumps to play with while waiting for your replacement.

2. The cost to replace 1 eheim is $550 (deltec) $300 (H&S). $1379 for RDBK 2000.

3. If my RD pump ever go down on me, i'll be arse out. Take at least a week or 2 to get the replacement. If my pump two year or older which warranty won't cover after two years. I better cough out some $$$$$ for the new pump. I have been saving money for another pump just incase something will go wrong with mine.

Ap1004?:DI LOVE THIS SKIMMER!! what a BEAST!!
skimmerReactor.jpg

You call that the protein skimmer? No man, that ain't protein skimmer. that is a MONSTER with full of bubble :D

I have ordered the skimmer now =)
Cant wait to se what it can do. I will use the skimmer on a 540L aquarium (which is full of LR for the moment) in a couple of months untill I get the new tank up and running.

ssbreef:
Could you take a couple more pics of the skimmer? Is it noisy in your opinion? And which pump are you using for feeding the skimmer?

It is a little noisy with 4 pumps. I don’t really care because my fish room is in the garage. I’m using a mag 9 for a feed pump.
