Where can you buy the sumps pictured in this post?

Aviable now in grey Color, named Eco-Dreambox, and a little bit higher, with new Front-Design.

To Order in US from Premium-Aquatics.

Now those are nice! I inquired about one directly from Germany over the summer but the shipping cost was too prohibitive. Keep the Royal-Exclusiv goods flowing to the US

If you want one, please ask Premium Aquatics. We send every month Pallets to USA and it is possible, for shipping the sumps to US...

only one minor issue. Looks like ozone port broke during shipping.

also, quick question.

there is a grey sleeve for the pump output. it's rather loose when you slide it into the output end. Pump also comes with 3 spare oring, I am assuming it's for the venturi?

Friend of mine has a SM250 as well, but his is RD1 pump.

What setting should I set my DC pump at? I am assuming when you press the button its changes the % of duty cycle, and after will goes back to display the wattage use.

is that correct??

Thanks Klaus ,the lowest the sump goes is 25 cm .I will raise the skimmer a few cm ans see how it goes. Its only been running a day so Il give it another then raise it.Ive herd its common to keep overflowing for a day or two.Ps I thought you guys worked in inches lol:beer:

Also on the red dragon pump the intake red knob what's the idea with that.Ive searched on the net and it only shows a grey one with two dots that line up.When it's screwed all the way in is that more water less air or the other way round.I purchased this of another club member who had for a year but never used it,but he couldn't find the instruction Manuel's.The PDF file on the net shows the grey intake knob.Thankyou

The adjustable nozzle allows you to fine tune air draw and water draw. Turning it all the way into the right maximizes water flow and decreases air draw. For the Deluxe I would suggest that you turn that nozzle approximately 1 1/4 turns out from the fully closed position and start from there.

I had no idea that this thread would take off the way it has when I started it back in 2008. So happy that there are so many happy BK owners from around the world. :D :love1:

I was one of the early adopters of the SM line. I am still running the same SM250 on my 180g reef. Being that I'm not very active on this thread anymore, I thought I'd share a current pic. I haven't upgraded to one of the fancy new RD pumps, because I feel I haven't needed to...
