I saw that after I posted. Damn, what a gorgeous fish. Always been a fan of Grammas and Black Caps.

Sorry it’s been awhile since I’ve updated.
Sat down and looked through Radion G3 and G6 specs. Went ahead and corrected my lighting to have a more crisp look. This curve is set to mimic the old 14k Phoenix 250w metal halide at peak (between 1-2pm). During ramp it has a nice blue.
This change was made to maximize growth and coloration based on actual tests made by Radion. Also I believe the UV setting I had was browning out a lot of coral.

I saw a few people planning on going. Looked like it was going to be a good time. Didn’t see any follow up though but assumed it went well.
Hooked up Ozonizer to skimmer. This unit I have used in the past. I just open it up to bypass the air pump and hook it up to my skimmer intake.
Came at a good time as the copepods I introduced also introduced hair algae. Have been running for about a week now and hair algae growth has pretty much stopped. What is left the turbo snails are quick to munch.
Neptune ORP is different than Milwaukee ORP meters. Neptune is slow to adjust and cannot support ozone control. As such I have decided to pulse ozone for 5min intervals every four hours through my skimmer. This works out to treating 120 gallons of water every day or roughly 4x my entire aquarium volume.

Hey thanks! Been a long time in the making. Already trying to convince my wife we need to go larger but will probably wait until this recession hits later this year.
Do you mean less blue, Nate?
Not less blue. If anything I went higher on royal blue in early/late schedule. It was an adjustment to remove a windex color blue.
