I wish I could talk back there Gary but I haven't a clue what you are talking about. Though 3 Rivers is right near where I live, that sparked my interest.

Fun game to watch. 49 points who woulda thought. Johnson looks like a keeper. TO played well,I thought. Why is the Bill's defense so much weaker this year than last year ? Looks like we are loosing the top draft pick? Heck from what I'm hearing we will likely loose the nfl next season so I'm going to enjoy what I can now.

About time Bills! Though it probably would have been better if they had just lost every game so we could get the top draft pick next year.....:mixed:
I haven't been back home in awhile, or had a ton of time to follow them at all this season.....is the NFL going on strike, or is Buffalo going to lose the Bills????

I agree play to win and entertain. Andrew Luck,qb at Stanford is spectactular though. If he comes out this year ,he''l be the #1 overall I think.
I'm enjoying the offense and Gailey has something to do with it. There calling teh right plays and usingthe whole filed and roster. Need to get better on defense.

Well, as much as I hate the thought of a strike, I hate the thought of them moving to Toronto even more (nothing against Canada, it's just the Bills BELONG in Buffalo). I wasn't suggesting they purposely lose, it's just it would be better draft pick wise if they didn't win. However, it's much much better for them to, as you said, learn to WIN. :thumbsup:

Should be a good game Sunday. They played tough against Baltimore & Chicago.
Last thing the Bills need is the 1st pick of the draft given the past history of draft choices (Aaron Maybin) & free agents (Merriman). They'd end up overpaying for someone that would no doubt take years to develop.

Maybin sure hasn't shown high first round play. He doesn't even play. He does get high first round money. Sort of a one man Buffalo stimulus plan.
I'm ok with the chance they're taking with Merriman since they grabbed him off waivers.
But I think the last time the Bil's had the overall #1 draft pick ,they used it for some defensive end from Virginia Tech and that worked out pretty well.
No doubt some personnel selections in recent years have been disappointing.They're some low priced gems though : Fred Jackson ,Steve Johnson and Fitzpatrick for example.

They really need to get some talent in the coaching and coordinator positions. I don't think they will need a first over all pick to get a good QB. Infact taking a lesser pick might lower stress and expectations. I do think that every year they should take a QB from the first round of the draft. Some QBs make and some don't, but talent and leadership is a must. Number one thing the Bills need to work on is stopping the run followed by stopping the pass.
