Cannaon T2i

So I hated my pics before...blamed the camera...sucked up to the Mrs for a new one,, bought a cannon T2i and am still not to happy!!lol

I've read thread after thread and still cant put together what i need to be doing. I've played with so many settings that I honestly don't know what does what anymore!!

My tank runs 6 250w halides with phoenix 14k bulbs, It has a fair bit of blue tint to it.

Can anyone tell me what settings I should re-start everything at??

There's plenty of info online on what each of the settings do. Google Karl taylor and take his free courses. He breaks down what your camera does. And gives you some basic camera skills.

Also, im sure you canon came with s quick start guide. And just like everything in life, practice will make you better. Keep shooting, keep trying, and once you have the features of the camera down , start posting your photos on here asking for feed back, just keep at it.

You should be worrying about a lens more than the body it goes on.

I know I need a lense but its hard to justify the promise of things getting better to the other half if I just spend a bit more cash!!lol

true...using the camera "properly" is the problem!!!

I've got no clue what manual setting on the camera to even start with!!
I've re read tons and tried again last night with zero pics that I would keep!!

Once you understand the three settings you can actually adjust and how they change the picture, it makes it easy to solve your own problems.
