so i'm thinking of putting together another tank.....what kind of lighting would be sufficient for a green carpet anemone in a 20L?

carpets need lots of light maybe 150 mh would workbut it will out grown that tank very quikly as i wouldnt reccomend a carpet for anything smaller than a 75g and that is pushing it

If you are smart about it you can pull it off ! Only the carput in the tank and make sure it established b4 putting it in or you will pay!

20L is just over 5G. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're talking about the mini carpets (stichodactyla tapetum).

I think that s/he meant a 20 gallon Long.

yeah sorry...i meant a 20 gallon long...i was just going to put a haddoni and a pair of clowns in it.....nothing more

I wouldn't. I've seen haddoni's carpets get larger than 18" across....MUCH too big for any 20g tank.

50-60 gallon species tank will be a good minimum for a haddoni, I.E sand, rock, water, anemone, clownfish.
a sump would not be nessesary(but makes life a little easier) if you dont mind having hangon eqt.
mh t5 or pc light would be acceptable for the greens or pink, browns and a bi monthly decent feeding will see good growth, I would wait 2 to 6 months before putting the nem in depending on the the state of the lr at system conception.

This is exactly the procedure (pc lighting) i use for this nem.
