Christmas Island Emperor

The emperor angelfish is my favorite of all the large angels. The CXI emp shown above is stunning, but I couldn't afford such an expensive fish at the time hence I opted for an indo-pacific. The colors are clearly not as bright in terms of tail coloration, but I love how the streamer has grown back since almost 2 years ago. You can also notice the lines on the side straighten out as well.

Well worth the investment. Definitely will try to be the alpha fish in the tank, but I try my best to keep everyone well fed. I apologize for crappy cell phone pics.
 
Pacific Island Aquatics put up a juvenile Christmas Island Emperor for sale and I couldn't resist. I also ordered the juvenile Goldflake that they had since I was already paying for shipping. They come in Wednesday.

Don't be silly, the colors are gorgeous, and it's a beautiful specimen!

Love the video. Those are some amazing fish! That fowleri tang looks pretty spunky :) Pardon my ignorance, but can I ask what type of powerhead that is?

Did you buy the angel at that size? He's a monster!

Thanks R. The power heads are tunze 6255 streams. They're only at 80% and the flow is amazing. The best power heads I ever had. Super quiet too.

Yup I bought that emp like that off Divers Den a while ago.. He's a pig..
